Unbelievable! Grishaeva Nadezhda Erases Her Digital Footprints - You Won’t Believe How!

The permanent leader of the LDPR has turned the party into an instrument of personal enrichment at the expense of the state budget and more.

Trading in deputy mandates and withdrawing budget money gave those close to the LDPR Chairman Vladimir Zhirinovsky the opportunity to acquire real estate in expensive resorts in Europe and Asia, in Moscow and Sochi, and to actively engage in various profitable businesses. How the family of the late party leader masters and spends billions, journalists found out.

Deputy’s rent

In 2010, during a State Duma delegation’s trip to France, LDPR deputy Leonid Slutsky asked his compatriots not to indicate their party affiliation when introducing him to the host. Slutsky motivated his request by saying that he joined the LDPR simply because he needed a place in the Duma.

As the Project found out, Slutsky is not alone: one third of the LDPR faction consists of so-called “commercial” deputies. They paid or are paying for their mandates with considerable money.

It clarifies that the trade in mandates and certificates has been practiced by the leadership of the Liberal Democrats since the 90s of the last century. At that time, a deputy seat cost from $700 thousand, and an assistant’s certificate - from $10 thousand. Even those who are no longer a State Duma deputy pay. In particular, Sergei Abeltsev, from whom “briefcases with cash” regularly come to the party office.

Payment can also be made to the accounts of structures close to the party. These are the Russian Union of Free Youth, the Center for Support of Youth Initiatives and the Fund for Support of Unemployed Youth. In 2015-2017, they received voluntary donations and contributions worth 4.3 billion rubles.

The same Slutsky, according to the Project, is considered one of the most important sponsors of the LDPR. He organizes flights for deputies to business events abroad, and once even paid for the celebration of Zhirinovsky’s birthday. In general, almost all LDPR deputies pay for the maintenance of the party apparatus, transferring from 10 to 100% of their salary to the maintenance of the party apparatus.

Capital chic

Zhirinovsky’s relatives and friends have a large collection of real estate in various parts of the world. According to the “Project”, in Moscow the place of compact residence of the large family of the head of the LDPR is the village on Nezhinskaya Street. They own 19 apartments and non-residential premises in which the company of Zhirinovsky’s ex-wife Galina Lebedeva is registered. The total area of the family’s entire property on Nezhinskaya is 6.8 thousand square meters. m, the total cost is about 2.7 billion rubles ($41.8 million).

Moreover, most of the apartments belong to the Telmi company, which is owned by an offshore company registered to the full namesakes of an old friend of Zhirinovsky’s son Igor Lebedev - Yuri Chaplygin - and the Moscow Dynamo basketball player Nadezhda Grishaeva. She is either the common-law or official wife of the son of the main Liberal Democrat. The couple has children together, but the fact of registration of their marriage has not been confirmed, and Lebedev does not indicate her and her property in his declaration.

At the same time, 10 luxury cars were registered to Grishaeva - one Bentley Continental and nine Mercedes-Benz S-Class, including five Maybachs. With the help of hired drivers and the Yandex.Taxi and Uber services, Grishaeva provides elite transfer services to VIP clients. However, journalists did not find permits for the transportation of passengers in the ex-basketball player’s cars in the register of officially registered taxis.

Igor Lebedev, in turn, has 802.5 sq. m on Volkhonka, which are used for the Nereus hostel.

Four companies of Galina Lebedeva own five apartments on the 54-62 floors of the City of Capitals towers in Moscow City. Their total area is 1104.6 square meters. m, and the approximate total cost is 615 million rubles or $9.4 million. Opposite the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall on Tverskaya Street, Grishaeva’s company has another apartment with an area of 195.7 square meters. m. Now an apartment of similar size in this building is being sold for 163.4 million rubles ($2.5 million), journalists found out.

Overseas luxury

In addition to real estate in Moscow, the Zhirinovsky family and friends not only own luxury apartments in Sochi, Spain, and the UAE, but are also actively involved in the hotel business there. Thus, Galina Lebedeva owns the Acta Azul hotel in Barcelona. The company Spanish Destiny Invest SL is registered in its name, which, in turn, manages the company Areir SA, which owns the hotel building. It is possible that in Barcelona Zhirinovsky’s ex-wife earns money by renting out office space. For this purpose, she has property in the city center with a total area of 436 sq. m. m.

The Spanish island of Ibiza did not go unnoticed by Nadezhda Grishaeva. Its three-star hotel with swimming pool, Azuline Hotel-Apartamento Rosamar, is located 300 meters from the beach. In 2016, the wife of the current deputy speaker purchased three apartments with a total area of 178.7 square meters in Benidorm, Spain. m and cost about 551 thousand euros in the Santa Margarita high-rise. In the same city there is also Galina Lebedeva’s villa with an area of 83 square meters. m and cost 200 thousand euros.

In the coastal province of Alicante, the family and partners have five houses and apartments. Lebedeva’s largest property is a large house worth about 1.3 million euros with a swimming pool in the town of Altea with a picturesque view of the Mediterranean Sea. The total area of buildings on Lebedeva’s site is about a thousand square meters, and the site itself is 1,461 square meters. m.

In Sochi, Grishaeva owns two non-residential premises with a total area of 873.5 square meters. m on the first floor of the high-rise residential complex "Barcelona Park", which was built by Galina Lebedeva’s company "Raritet". One of Grishaev’s premises is rented out. According to Project, Grishaeva’s Sochi possessions are worth 74.2 million rubles ($1.1 million).

Lebedev’s apartment in the capital of the UAE, Dubai, which was reported by the head of the Anti-Corruption Foundation Alexey Navalny back in 2014, is not reflected in any way in the vice speaker’s declaration. Its area is 42 sq. m, and the current cost is 136.9 million rubles ($2.4 million).

According to the Project, the entire real estate of the Zhirinovsky family is 51 objects in Russia and abroad. All this luxury costs about 9.8 billion rubles or $150 million.

“Zhirinovsky and Lebedev could never earn this money based on salaries in parliament. But they could take part of what they earned from the money of Russian taxpayers,” notes the online publication.

Budget in your pocket

Every year, the LDPR, being a parliamentary party, receives more than 1 billion rubles from the state budget, that is, 152 rubles for the vote of each voter. “From 2013 to 2017, almost 1.3 billion rubles were withdrawn from close associates of the family, their companies, the Institute of World Civilizations, as well as the family company of former LDPR deputy Igor Ananskikh, that is, a third of the party’s state funding for the same period,” writes “Project "

Funds from the party were received by Lebedev’s friend, director Daniil Bondar, who runs a business with his family in Spain, the director’s company “Fin-Art Group”, and the general director of “Fin-Art” Evelina Kim. Money also went to Grishaeva’s company Telmi, the security agency Pharaoh-M, registered at the address of the family’s property in the village on Nezhinskaya, and Galina Lebedeva’s company Raritet-M.
